hello dearest reader! welcome to my little corner of the web. i hope you enjoy your stay. we have coffee, tea, cookies, and other snacks available ♥ make yourself comfortable.
this is a site dedicated to stuff i enjoy and somewhere i can document my thoughts and existence in general. pen and paper would do fine normally for something like this but i'm one of those people that's afraid to 'ruin' a good journal lol! so utilizing a website where it's easy to switch things up seems to be the better option for now.
i don't have a plan for this site currently, so consider it to be in a perpetual state of 'work in progress.' i wanted a space where i could decorate how i would similarly to a bedroom, except i don't get tired from moving furniture and i can put up moving gifs on the walls, ha. :D (*crickets*) i do still struggle with the problem of wanting to redecorate every other month though...
what pushed me to focus on creating this space was deleting most of my social media accounts. i feel like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders. twitter (or X, *rolls eyes*) and instagram were the worst for my attention span and mental health. it was how i connected with my friends, so i had a difficult time letting those go. but! i'm already learning so much about coding, and i love figuring out how people make their websites look fun and cool to interact with. i enjoy the freedom of customization and it brings me back to myspace and early tumblr, and a little bit of gaiaonline. fun times.
with that said, my code is very... well, all over the place. apologizing in advance if you attempt to pick through it. i'm sure there's a lot that's redundant or could be simplified but that's the beauty of learning a new skill i suppose. :D
